Everything grows on the sun, and the requirements of plants for light are mainly the color, spectrum, intensity and time of light. Therefore, artificial development of the illumination of specific spectral lighting products can greatly enhance plant growth. LED plant lights can be widely used in plant cultivation, but the cost of electricity in plant factory production accounts for about 30%, the development of resource-saving light sources is a necessary requirement for building plant factories.
Solar light is composed of many different wavelengths of light waves, and only a very small part of the solar radiation spectrum has an impact on photosynthesis, accounting for about 5% of solar light. The optimum ratio of red light at 620-680 nm and blue-violet light at 400-500 nm was obtained, and the LED plant lamp was successfully developed.
LED plant lamp can not only emit narrow monochromatic light, such as red, orange, yellow, green, blue, infrared and so on, but also can be combined according to different needs of plants, and is a cold light source with low fever characteristics, and reduce the use of pesticides, hormones and other chemicals to ensure food safety.
Below are the light source matching parameters for 14 common vegetables:
(1) lettuce: the light source of red and blue light 6 and 1 and 7: 1 are suitable for growth.
(2) The plant height, stem diameter, leaf width and other quality ratios of Chinese chive under red/blue 7:1 treatment were significantly higher than those of other treatments.
(3) Cucumber: 7:2 is the best ratio of red and blue light for cucumber seedling growth, and 7:1 is the best ratio for cucumber seedling growth.
(4) green vegetables and water spinach: 7 to 1 is the best ratio of red and blue for the growth of leaves of vegetables and water spinach.
(5) white radish: the most suitable light quality: red and blue light ratio 8:1.
(6) lettuce: the ratio of red to blue light is 9: 1, which is beneficial to the growth of lettuce.
(7) Strawberry and tomato: Red and blue light 9:1 is the most favorable for the growth of strawberry and tomato, and the fruit is full and nutritious.
(8) Holly: Red and blue light in accordance with the ratio of 8:1 configuration, Holly growth best, strong and well-developed roots.
(9) Sprouting Vegetables: the ratio of red to green and blue light with 6: 2: 1 is the most obvious.
(10) Calla Lily: the best growth rate is the ratio of 6 to 2 of red and blue light.
(11) Anthurium andraeanum: Comprehensive analysis showed that 7:3 treatment of red and blue light was better for morphology, root growth and dry matter accumulation.
(12) Dendrobium candidum: red and blue light 7:3, the best proliferation effect; 6:4, more conducive to photosynthesis and material accumulation.
Take lettuce as an example, the required planting environment parameters are:
Illumination above plants: 2600-2900lx (pure red and blue spectral illumination value, non-white illumination value), no natural light, completely artificial lighting system, the early period of irradiation 6 hours on, 2 hours off, three times a day; 14 hours later, 10 hours off, twice a day cycle;
Ambient temperature: 28-30 degrees C (later air conditioning starts to add, maintain 28 C).
Relative humidity: 50%-70% (late air conditioner opened to about 60%).
