Zhou Zhifeng, deputy general manager of SAN Optoelectronics Operating Center, introduced the development and current situation of SAN in detail. SAN Optoelectronics is the earliest and largest production base of III-V compound semiconductor devices in China, ranking third in the world. In 2017, San'an Optoelectronics became the only backbone enterprise of compound semiconductor which was listed in the National "13th Five-Year Plan" for the development of major productive forces. At present, SAN Optoelectronics has five core industries: LED, optical communication, microwave integrated circuit, filter and power electronics. In the future, SAN Optoelectronics will play an important role in the development and application of III-V compound semiconductor materials. It will make the core industries involved in new semiconductor materials such as GaAs, GaN and SiC bigger and stronger, and strive to build a semiconductor manufacturer with international competitiveness.
